COIL Governance Council Overview
The COIL Governance Council, a site based decision making body, is responsible for charter accountability and modification and evaluative the effectiveness of the charter school. The Council is made up of three COIL teachers, three COIL parents, three members from the community and the school director. Actualizing the goals of the school's mission and charter is a priority of the Council, and the Council will provide guidance and support to achieve this.
All COIL Community Members are welcome to attend monthly Governance Council Meetings which are posted on the COIL website. Parents interested in applying for membership on the council needs to attend at least one council meeting and should read the School Charter and Governance Council Policy which can be found on the COIL website.
